ASD Planetarium: 1999 Dieruff Academy Field Experience
FEBRUARY 12, 1999: BANDELIER NATIONAL MONUMENT
When we were finished at Los Alamos, we headed to nearby Bandelier National Monument. This is a site of cliff dwellings of the Anasazi Indians. The dwellings are carved out of solidified volcanic ash which covers the cliff sides.
